At Millet sports, we are passionate about sports and understand why people participate in sports. At the end of the dat it is all about being competitive and enjoying the activity, whether you're competing against others or just against yourself. In fact passion, ambition, competition and the desire to outperform run through everything we do here, whether it is getting you the best products at the most competitive prices or giving you the best service before, during and after you shop with us.

A brief history

We started life over 20 years ago when Simon Millet founded his first Millet Sports shop in London. A keen sportsman, Simon wanted to set up a store selling performance sports equipment combined with a service to offer expert product advice, unlike the sports fashion stores that were taking over the high street at the time.

Over the years, these sports fashion stores have come to dominate the high street, making it difficult to buy anything but basic sports equipment from most stores, and the number selling performance sports equipment is very much in decline. This is what led to the Millet Sports website being launched with the aim of helping everyone who wanted access to performance sports equipment but did not have a store locally.

Over the last few years the business has grown from strength to strength, adding more sports categories and a growing team of sport-minded colleagues to service the increasing customer demand.

UK Delivery Delivery is FREE on orders of £50 or above within UK.

We think that you shouldn't have to worry about your goods reaching you, and that delivery should be as convenient and as easy as possible. For that reason we use DPD, Royal Mail and other experienced couriers to enable us to get your goods to you via a method that suits you best.

For your convenience you can choose any delivery address, be it at work, home, a neighbour or somewhere else. Most parcels require a signature, unless specified otherwise when ordering.*

When your order has been despatched, we will send you an email informing you of the delivery method and a tracking number if applicable. If you are not around when the courier attempts delivery then they will leave a card informing they called.

In most cases delivery will be on Monday - Friday between 9am and 9pm. If we dispatch your parcel using Royal Mail, a Saturday delivery may also be attempted.

UK Mainland

Delivery is FREE on orders of £50 and above to all UK addresses. Delivery is free as per our standard service. If the basket value is under £50 and it contains no items which qualify for free delivery, a charge of £3.95 will be added to the basket for delivery to all UK addresses.

Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery, although most parcels will arrive within 1-2 working days.

Not all items qualify for free delivery to Mainland UK. If there is an additional charge this will be explained within the individual product description (this refers to Table Tennis Tables, Fitness Equipment and other large items for shipping outside Mainland UK). In the event there is an extra charge payable, one of our Customer Service agents will call you once the order is placed to take payment and arrange a suitable time for delivery.**

* Please note that if opting to receive your parcel without a signature (requesting it to be left round back of house, or in a porch etc) Millet Sports does not accept liability for any parcels which have been delivered but go missing. Our excellent customer service team will of course help investigate with the courier as to the parcel whereabouts, normally resolving the matter very quickly.

** Some of the items we sell are heavy or bulky and may carry a delivery surcharge. If an additional charge is payable, one of our Customer Service agents will contact you to take payment and arrange delivery. The item description will explain fully any additional charges if applicable.

International Delivery

Millet Sports delivers to over 100 countries worldwide. We think that you shouldn't have to worry about your goods reaching you, and that delivery should be as convenient and as easy as possible. For that reason we use a combination of trusted and reliable couriers and postal services to ensure you get your goods as quickly as possible.

When your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email informing you of the delivery method and a tracking number if applicable. Most goods sent out of the UK will be sent with either DPD/Geopost or Royal Mail.

Europe

It is important to us at Millet Sports that your goods arrive safely and securely. For this reason most of our European Parcels are sent using DPD/Geopost or Royal Mail and their associated partners, as we are able to track the parcel from the time it leaves us and gets to you. All parcels will require a signature on delivery.

Please note that the prices below are for items weighing up to 30kg in weight. In the event that your parcel weight exceeds what we can send to your country, you will be notified at checkout.

It is important to us at Millet Sports that your goods arrive safely and securely. Please note that Millet Sports will not pay customs or import charges, so you should check with your local customs office to see if these are payable ahead of ordering. We will always state the true value of the goods on the invoice and shipping paperwork.

When we dispatch your order we will send you an email to let you know, containing information on the products dispatched to you. Please note that some email services (such as Yahoo, Googlemail and Hotmail) have filters that can stop this email from getting to your inbox. To prevent this, please add orders@milletsports.co.uk to your address book or safe sender list.

Why did I receive some items but not others I ordered?

Whenever possible, we dispatch all of your items together. However, sometimes we might be waiting for stock and rather than keep you waiting for all of your goods (particularly if they are unrelated), we may dispatch the items we have in stock to you and then send any other items when we receive them. You will not incur additional delivery charges if we do this.

If you inform us that you want all of the items together or if we can tell that you need all of the items together (for instance if you have ordered a table tennis table and some bats) then we will not dispatch your order unless it is complete.

What do I do if I have received an incorrect item?

Mistakes are rare, but they do happen. In the unlikely event that we have sent you the incorrect goods, then first of all we apologise. We want to make sure that we rectify this as soon as possible and ensure that we get the goods you ordered to you. In this event, please contact enquires@milletsports.co.uk , where one of our helpful advisors will be happy to assist you. They will email/send you a free returns label, which means you will be able to send the parcel back to us without incurring any postage costs. Please note it is our policy not to reimburse any postage costs as we provide this free service, and will always instruct our customers to use it.

What do I do if I receive a faulty product?

We have high standards at Millet Sports and only source products from high quality brands and suppliers. Most items sold on our website have a full manufacturer's warranty. If any product we supply fails prematurely due to a manufacturing defect we will be happy to assist you in providing a replacement or alternative product. However, due to the highly technical nature of many of our products, ahead of providing a replacement or alternative product, we are required to send all faulty products to the manufacturer for expert analysis. Please note this can take up to 28 days, however faulty items are normally replaced much quicker. In the event the manufacturer deems the product is not faulty, and damage was caused by mis-use, unfortunately we are not able to replace the item or offer an alternative. Please follow our easy returns process if you have a faulty item and we will be happy to assist you.

In the event that the product is deemed faulty on first inspection, and ahead of first use, please notify us (within 14 days of receipt), we will arrange a replacement immediately. Once the product has been used, all faults come under manufacturer's warranty and are bound by the process listed above. Please follow our easy returns process listed if you have a faulty item and we will be happy to assist you.

Where do you deliver to?

We choose our couriers to ensure that we have a wide geographical coverage for deliveries. This means that we deliver to all parts of the UK, Europe and many countries around the globe - over 100 countries in fact. For more information about what countries we deliver to and the likely charges, please visit our International delivery tab. Please note that not all products offered on our site are available for delivery to some UK and international destinations, but this will be highlighted clearly. How long will my UK delivery take?

We aim to get all orders delivered within 2-3 working days, however occasionally items may be delayed and take up to 7 working days. We will tell you when we have dispatched your order so you will know when to expect it. Please note that some items that need to be ordered specially and may take a little longer.

How long will my International delivery take?

We aim to get all orders delivered as quickly as possible, and work with a number of established and trusted couriers to ensure this happens. For more information on delivery times and costs, please see our International Delivery tab. We will tell you when we have dispatched your order so you will know when to expect it. Most International orders will have a tracking number, which will be sent to you with your dispatch confirmation. You will be able to track these using the links on the delivery page. If your parcel was dispatched using Royal Mail Airmail, we may have to wait upto 28 days after dispatch to track your parcel.

What is your delivery charge?

Delivery is free for orders over £50 and for standard UK orders under £50, our delivery charge is £3.95. Please note that some products and addresses (for example Highlands and Islands and international addresses) will incur higher delivery charges and you will be advised of these before checkout.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes you can, the UK Distance Selling Regulations mean that if you realise you do not wish to keep an item then you can cancel anytime up to 7 days after you receive your order (starting the day after you received them) by informing us in writing. If you wish to cancel an order before we have dispatched it then please email us as soon as possible.

Can I exchange my goods for something else?

If you find that you have changed your mind and want another product or you wish to get a different size or colour of the item you have ordered then, please let us know and we will be happy to exchange it. All we ask is that you return the product to us unused and with the original packaging and we will exchange for the item you would like. If the item is a higher price then we will need to charge you the difference but if you are exchanging for a cheaper item, we will refund any difference. Please note, we do not refund any delivery or return costs for exchanges.

How do I return an order?

If you wish to return an order to us as a result of cancelling an order, making an exchange or if there is a problem with your goods then please contact us via email

How long will it take to get my refund?

We aim to process your refund within 3 working days of receiving your goods back and you will get an email to let you know when we have processed it. We will refund the amount to the card you used to place the order and once we have processed it, you may need to allow another 5-10 days for the refund to appear credited back to your account depending on which card issuer or bank you are with.

Do you have size guides?

Yes we do, because lots of our brands and suppliers have subtle differences in their sizing so you'll find them where it most makes sense, on the product pages. Just look beneath the main product image and you'll see a little tab marked 'Size guide', click on this and an overlay will launch showing you all the information you need in a table.

Don�t have my size on the eBay listing ?

We can only sell the sizes which are available on the eBay listing. Sizes can come back into stock so please do recheck the listing for updates.

Can you send my items as a "Gift" on the customs form?

At Millet Sports all our order processing and despatch systems are automated we cannot detail your item as a gift on the customs label.

To return items ordered from eBay, please go to the eBay Resolution Centre select that you wish to return your item and continue. You will also need to complete a returns form. Please click here to download the form. Please ensure you complete the form in full and read the T&Cs below

We try to ensure that all our goods are exactly what you want and reach you in good condition, however, if you do need to return anything to us please read our policy below. We strongly recommend that if you do send something back to us, you use a recorded delivery service and retain your proof of sending in case it gets lost in transit. For a goodwill refund or exchange* items must be unused and returned in the original packaging and in a re-saleable condition within 21 days of receipt of your goods. Please ensure your items are accompanied by a completed returns form (see below on how to complete returns form).

Cancelling an order

Should you wish to cancel an order, in most cases you have the legal right to do this within 7 working days of receiving the order. However, this does not apply to certain products such as personalised items, perishable goods and audio/video recordings or computer software which has been opened.

If you wish to cancel, you must inform us in writing, quoting your order number, within 7 working days following the day you received the goods at enquiries@milletsports.co.uk You must also take reasonable care of the goods. What do we mean by reasonable care? We would consider that reasonable care has not been taken of the goods, for instance, if you have used them to an extent beyond what would be reasonable if examining them in a shop before purchase.

If you cancel an order we will require that you return the goods to us in good time, with the original packaging and at your own expense to the address below. If your require assistance in returning a large item such as a treadmill or table tennis table etc we can offer a collection service. Please enquire as to its cost with our customer services team. Faulty goods

All of our products come with the standard manufacturer's warranty. If any product we supply fails prematurely due to a manufacturing defect we will provide you with a refund, replacement or repair. Simply email us at enquiries@milletsports.co.uk and we will arrange everything for you.

Please ensure that you inform us as soon as possible after receiving you goods of any damage to avoid any delays in receiving a replacement or refund. Due to the highly technical nature of the products we sell, in the event that the product has been used at least once, we will need to send it to the manufacturer to confirm that the product defect is due to a manufacturing fault - our suppliers will always come back to us within 28 days maximum (normally much quicker) and we will get in contact with you on hearing their findings.

What if I have received my parcel, but they were not the goods ordered?

Mistakes are rare, but they do happen. In the unlikely event that we have sent you the incorrect goods, then first of all we apologise. We want to make sure that we rectify this as soon as possible and ensure that we get the goods you ordered to you. In this event, please contact Customer Services by email enquiries@milletsports.co.uk where one of our advisors will be happy to assist you. They will email/send you a free returns label, which means you will be able to send the parcel back to us without incurring any postage costs. Please note it is our policy not to reimburse any postage costs as we provide this free service, and will always instruct our customers to use it. Customers must always send back their order with an accompanying returns form - this will ensure we can process your return quickly.

Exchanges

Should you wish to return a non-faulty product for an exchange, the following applies:

A full refund will be given (less postage) upon receipt of the goods. We will, however, refund the postage back to you if the need for an exchange is as a result of a mistake made by us (e.g. we sent out the incorrect size). You must take reasonable care of the goods whilst they are in your possession. What do we mean by reasonable care? We would consider that reasonable care has not been taken of the goods, for instance, if you have used them to an extent beyond what would be reasonable if examining them in a shop before purchase.

The goods must be returned to us within 21 days of receipt, in the original packaging and with all the original labels attached and at your own expense to the address below. Should you wish to exchange an item we will charge you postage to send you your exchanged item, even if the item is over £50.

Unacceptable returns

If you return an item to us outside of the terms of our returns policy and your statutory rights do not apply we may not refund you. The item may be returned to you at your expense and you will be notified of this and any other charges. If you choose to send the item back to us again, or refuse to accept delivery, this will be deemed as an irreversible instruction for us to dispose of your goods without further notice. This will not constitute any admission that we have failed to honour in full our obligations to you in full and will not constitute any unlawful action against the goods.

*(i.e where there is no legal right to a refund or exchange under the Distance Selling Regulations or otherwise)
